Abstract:
This study has targeted recognizing the impact of governance implementation
upon the management of human resources through being implemented upon Najran
University, recognizing the awareness level regarding the importance of governance in the
management of human resources inside the university, and providing some suggestions
to help in activating the governance system in the management of human resources
inside the university. The assumption of the study was in the following question: What is
the impact of governance upon the
management of human resources inside the university according to the hopes of
kingdom’s Vision 2030? To achieve the goals of this study and answer its questions, the
two researchers have used the deductive approach to recognize the dimensions of the
problem, identify its aspects and put the hypotheses. They have also used the inductive
approach to test how these hypotheses are correct in addition to the analytic descriptive
method through using case study’s method to describe, analyze and know the impact
of governance upon the management of human resources inside the university. The
historic approach was also used to make a comparison to the related previous studied. A
questionnaire was used to collect data from the study’s random sample that consisted of
149 administrative personnel working at Najran University. The study has reached some
outcomes including that the implementation of governance is done in a good way at the
management of human resources inside the Najran University. There is also a positive
and strong link with a statistical significance between the governance and the good
management of human resources inside Najran University. The study recommended the
necessity of enhancing the principle of governance while managing the human resources
in addition to enhancing the governance though committing to administrative transparency
inside the Saudi universities.
