Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to assess the efficiency of anger management
training in reducing aggressive behavior and improving resilience among
children with hearing disabilities in Amman. The study is based on a randomly
selected sample of 22 children who are randomly distributed into two groups:
experimental and control group. The experimental group has received an
anger Management training program which consists of 9 sessions in eight
weeks. The participants in the control group have not received any training.
The participants of the two groups are assessed according to the aggressive
behavior scale and resilience scale before and after the training program. The
results of this study indicate the high efficiency of the anger management
training program in reducing aggressive behavior and improving resilience
among children with hearing disabilities.
