Abstract:
This research aimed to compare between depression and academic stress among King Saud University female students, studying in social and humanities disciplines )Art, Education, Business, Linguistics and Translation, & Law and Political Studies(, as well as the correlation between academic stress and depression. 409 students participated in this research, with a mean age of 22.5 years. They answered the academic stress test and the depression test. Pearson correlation coefficient, and one- way analysis of variance was used to analyze the data. Results indicated a significant correlation between academic stress and depression. Our findings also showed no differences between stress and depression within disciplines, grade point average, & the academic year.
