Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to show the effect of using blended learning in teaching science on developing critical thinking skills of students at seventh grade. The sample of the study consisted of (80)students at seventh grade who were chosen purposely, and distributed in two groups, the experimental and control groups. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher developed a measure of critical thinking, it consisted of (18) items distributed on three skills: knowledge of Assumptions, Interpretation and conclusion. The study results showed that there were significant statistical differences at the level of statistical significance ( alpha= 0.05) between the averages for the performance of seventh grade students in science on the three critical thinking skills due to the variable of the study (teaching method), for the experimental group members who have studied using the teaching method that based on blended learning compared with those of the control group members who have studied using the usual method of teaching. According to previous results, the study concluded a set of recommendations
