​​International Journal of Research in Education and Psychology (IJREP ) is an International refereed online journal, published two times a year. It is dedicated to publishing original papers either in English or Arabic in all fields of psychology and all aspects of teaching and learning. The IJREP aims at providing an international forum for communication among researchers, academics and practitioners; and the presentation of diverse perspectives as they relate to Education and Psychology. The journal publishes theory-based empirical papers, practice oriented papers, review papers, case studies, conference reports, and book reviews.​​​

  • ​​The International Journal of Research in Education and Psychology (IJREP) is dedicated to publishing original papers, either in English or Arabic in all fields of psychology and all aspects of teaching and learning. The journal aims at providing an international forum for communication among researchers, academics and practitioners; and the presentation of diverse perspectives as they relate to Education and Psychology.

    TYPES OF MANUSCRIPTS

    The papers submitted can be any of the following forms:
    Research Papers: which present important new research results including quantitative studies include statistical analysis of survey or secondary data; and qualitative studies include case studies, focus groups, or interviews.
    Theoretical Papers: This may be analyses or commentaries on established theories in field of psychology or education.
    Review Papers: these papers accumulate the results of many different articles on a particular topic into a coherent description in any field of psychology and education. Review papers provide information about the topic and also provide journal references to the original research.
    Conference Reports: provide short summaries of in-progress or completed studies that are presented at conferences, but are not yet fully peer-reviewed for publication as complete articles. Conference reports present an early picture of current research that is likely to appear later in one or more of the primary article forms listed above.
    Book Reviews: these reviews are short evaluations of recently published books and monographs of interest to psychologists and educators.

    The (IJREP) welcomes papers on all aspects of psychology and all aspects of teaching and learning. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

    ACCEPTANCE OF MANUSCRIPTS
    Submission of a manuscript to The International Journal of Research in Education and Psychology (IJREP) implies that it has not been published or is not under consideration elsewhere. If accepted for this journal, it is not to be published elsewhere without permission. As a further condition of publication, the corresponding author will be responsible, where appropriate, for certifying that permission has been received to use copyrighted instruments or software employed in the research and that human or animal subjects approval has been obtained.

    HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR MANUSCRIPT
    Authors are requested to submit the paper in Ms Word format and fill the following SPC copyright.pdf ​ and then submit through "Submission button"

    ​The International Journal of Research in Education and Psychology Is currently recruiting qualified reviewers/referees to assist in peer-review process. Reviewers should be experienced researchers who have published high quality papers. If you are interested in serving as a reviewer/referee for IJREP, Please indicate your interest and provide a brief summary of credentials by contacting Editor-in-Chief at: afarah@uob.edu.bh

    All manuscripts submitted to (IJREP) are subject to peer review and must meet academic standards. Submissions will be, first, considered by an editor-in-chief, and then be reviewed by anonymous reviewers. Once the author submits any manuscript, an acknowledgment shall be sent to the author along with a technical paper for peer-review.
    Referees are formal reviewers whose comments and opinions will form the basis upon which the Editor will decide whether or not to publish the paper, and with what changes. (IJREP) requires that referees treat the contents of papers under review as privileged information, not to be disclosed to others before publication. The referees are protected from personal interactions with the author by withholding their names. The Editors decision is always based on all the reviews received, but mixed reviews present the need for the exercise of editorial judgment. Thus, the final decision for acceptance or rejection lies with the Editor. The review process shall ensure that all authors have equal opportunity for publication of their papers.

    Review Steps
    All manuscript will be assigned to more than one reviewer through 5 steps. As soon as we receive an article, the Editorial office will Pre-Review your manuscript in one week. The officer will check whether the manuscript is valid and language is fluent and necessary factors are all included. The officer will also cross check the article in crossref database in order to avoid plagirsm. The following is a formal review process accomplished by other official reviewers for one month. It is decided by Editor-in-Chief in one week whether your manuscript is accepted or not. All submitted papers will be reviewed in about six weeks.

    Type of Peer Review
    This journal follows blind reviewing process, where both the referee and author remain anonymous throughout the process. Formal Conditions of Acceptance
    Each article submitted to us will be reviewed by at least 2 reviewers. Moreover the papers will be checked for linguistic consistency. Thematic review will decide whether to accept or reject according to the originality, significance for theory and practice, quality of content and presentation of submitted paper.
