dc.description.abstract In this paper we have extended the expressions of Bias and Mean square error of the estimators of Agarwal and Al-Mannai (2008) from first order of approximation to the second order of approximation. This helps further to the problem of reducing sampling error in sample surveys, by using the information on auxiliary variables. The usefulness of the estimators is demonstrated with the help of examples taken from the literature. en_US
