dc.description.abstract In this paper, Hybrid Fuzzy PID plus PID controller is used for frequency and voltage regulation of the Hybrid power system (HPS), consisting of a reheat thermal power system and micro-grid consisting of various sources, usages Ant Lion Optimization (ALO) for optimally tune the controller parameters. The ALO tuned HPS could be termed as a novel, supremacy of ALO over recently evolutionary optimization algorithms like whale optimization algorithm (WOA), grey wolf optimization (GWO), and salp swarm algorithm (SSA). The supremacy of the proposed Hybrid Controller has been shown by comparing the result with controllers such as PI, PID and Fuzzy PID (FuPID) for the same system parameters tuning by using ALO optimization. The robustness of the proposed controller is tested with the parametric variation of ± 20%. The presented ALO tuned hybrid controller outperformed all other controllers, demonstrating ALO's performance for load frequency control studies. en_US
