dc.description.abstract This study aims to investigate the self-regulation dimension’s level according to gender, academic major, and study years among college students in the Sultanate of Oman. These dimensions include: procrastination, psychological cost, failure to transcendence, miss-regulation, laziness, and satisfaction. The self-regulation failure instrument was introduced to 901 students )47% male( selected randomly from Sultan Qaboos University and College of Higher Technology. Participants were requested to complete the survey. The results demonstrated that the self-regulation failure dimensions exist with moderate level. The results also proved that these dimensions significantly differ among students according to their gender and study years. Applications and recommendations were discussed in the study. en_US
