Abstract:
The current study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of dialectical behavioral
therapy in developing the psychological resilience of university students
and its relationship to their feelings of depression, and the number of tools
sample reached )150( female students of the College of Sciences and Human
Studies in Spears. Two scales were applied, one of which was used to detect
feelings of depression and the other on psychological resilience, prepared
by the researcher on an exploratory sample, to detect cases that suffer from
depressive feelings. And the other is experimental, and the treatment program
was applied by the researcher to the members of the experimental group, and
the program consisted of sixteen sessions, and the ultimate goal was to develop
resilience to reduce depression. The duration of each session ranged between
45 minutes and an hour twice a week over a period of three months. Results
of statistical analysis of the effectiveness of dialectical behavioral therapy in
developing psychological resilience and relieving feelings of depression.
