Abstract:
The current study aims to identifiy the level of conceptual awareness
of artificial intelligence applications in education among Princess Nourah
Bint Abdulrahman University students as well as to investigate the attitude
toward using artificial intelligence applications in education in Saudi Arabia.
The sample consists of )333( students from various colleges during the
2019 academic year. . The questionnaire design was used for the analytical
description method, and the questionnaire had 26 items.. The results show that
students from all these colleges have a high degree of conceputal awareness of
artificial intelligence. Furthermore, the results show that students use artificial
intelligence apps in education to a signicant degree. Moreover, the results
show that there is a statistically significant difference of 5%, for scientific
colleges in terms of students’ awareness of artificial intelligence and related
applications. In addition, the results demonstrate that students generally
reported a positive attitude regarding the use of artificial intelligence and apps
in learning to a high degree.
