dc.description.abstract The term “The Bravery of Arabic” is considered one of the inherited time-honored Arabic technical colloquial terms, covering a variety of eloquence and magnificence of speech. It forms, in its essence, an integral part of the rhetorical heritage, and reflects the creative taste of the rhetoricians. This research addresses the term “The Bravery of Arabic” in terms of its definition, and the reason for the name. The study then deals with the origin of the term, how it has moved into the rhetoric field, exploring its various definitions individually. Finally, it deals two unparalleled men of eloquence: Ibn Al-Atheer Al-Jazri and Ibn Al-Atheer Al- Halabi. The study has sought to discover the manifestations of the term in modern criticism to demonstrate the image of acculturation occurring between ancient Arabic poetry and modern Arabic poetry. en_US
