dc.description.abstract | This In this paper, a two-parameter power Prakaamy distribution (PPKD) has been suggested. The statistical properties including behavior of the density function, moments and moments based measures have been discussed. The hazard rate function and the stochastic order relations of the proposed distribution have been studied. The maximum likelihood estimation has been discussed for estimating its parameters. The usefulness of the proposed distribution among other distributions has been explained by fitting three lifetime datasets and using some goodness-of-fit measures. | en_US |
