dc.description.abstract International responsibility is the legal bond resulting from the violation of an international obligation by a State or any other subject of the public international law, causing harm to the international community or to one of its subjects According to the first article of draft articles of ILC, any internationally wrongful act by the State entails international responsibility. Rule 149 of the customary IHL provides that the state is responsible for violations of international humanitarian law attributable to it, including: a- violations committed by its organs , b- violations committed by persons or entities it empowered to exercise elements of governmental authority, c-violations committed by persons or groups acting in fact on its instructions, or under its direction or control, d-violations committed by private persons or groups which it acknowledges and adopted as its own conduct. Customary rule 150 confirmed the State responsible for violations of international humanitarian law is required to make full reparation for the loss or injury caused. Hence, the current study investigates the two following conceptions: 1 :The content of the State's responsibility for violating the IHL during armed conflict. 2: The effect of the State's responsibility for violating the IHL during armed conflict. en_US
