Abstract:
Electronic trade is considered to be of a great importance in our daily life, especially as regarding its very simple procedure and its rapidity. Nevertheless, electronic trade suffers from shortcomings as for the consumer and the professional relationship is concerned. This present analysis focuses mainly on consumer protection within the electronic trade contract. The unbalanced relationship between both the dealer and the consumer should be reexamined in order to provide more protection and guarantee for the consumer. Thus, there are national and international treaties such as Uncitral Model Law for international trade trying to regulate this relationship and provide an appropriate consumer protection in order to encourage electronic trade. These are the mains topics on which the present work is based on.
