Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to examine the correlation between dynamic balance and the ability of concentration, success at school )mathematics and Arabic language(, and anthropometric measures )foot length, age, and body mass index )BMI((. The descriptive approach was used with 89 students of the sixth grade in the optimal school at Yarmouk University. The regression equations for dynamic balance and concentration were used in this study. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between dynamic balance and concentration. There was also a positive correlation between dynamic balance and concentration with academic achievement in mathematics. There was a positive correlation between the ability of concentration and academic achievement in the Arabic language. There was a significant negative correlation between the ability of dynamic balance and the BMI and between dynamic balance and foot length. There was a positive effect of academic achievement in mathematics and foot length on the ability of dynamic balance. There was also a positive effect of academic achievement in mathematics on the ability of concentration.
