The Effect of Gymnastics Courses at the Physical Education Faculty on Improving Instructional Skills of Field Training Students

dc.description.abstract This study aimed at knowing the effect of Gymnastics courses at the physical education faculty on improving the instructional skills of field training students, and at knowing whether there are statistically significant differences between the perspectives of the field practicing students with respect to the effect of the courses on enhancing the instructional skills due to the following variables: gender, grade level and specialization. The sample of the study consisted of 151 students chosen intentionally from those who registered for a field training course. A questionnaire constituted of 28 items distributed on the following three scales: planning skills, implementation skills, and introducing skills was constructed, and handed to the sample of the study. Data analysis showed that there was a great impact of gymnastic courses on enhancing the instructional skills of field practicing students. Also the study showed that there was non-statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level of the perspective of field training students at the aerobic course of its effect on enhancing their instructional skills that could be attributed to gender, grade and specialization. Based on the results of the study, it was recommended that we must continue implementing the gymnastic courses, improving the quality of these courses at the same time, and to launching other studies about this issue. en_US
