Abstract:
The aim of the study is to evaluate the IEPs in special education schools and centers in Riyadh city by identifying procedures of preparing the IEPs and its contents. In addition, it aims at determining the extent to which these procedures and contents are matching with those of the international standards. To achieve these goals, two questionnaires were used to collect data, one aimed at exploring the preparation procedures of IEPs by special teachers, and the other was to analyze contents of IEPs by comparing them to the international standards The results of the study revealed many difficulties facing the implementation of the IEPs in schools and centers, ranging from lack of details to inappropriate implementations.
