Abstract:
This study aims at identifying the difficulties which university students encounter and their relationship with their achievement. To gather the data, a questionnaire of 32 items was distributed to 80 graduates from Sultan Qaboos University and other universities. The results of the study reveal that the students face difficulties such as building basic equipment, educational technology equipment, course content and training and supervision. The study shows significant differences among the respondents in regard to their variables (faculty, social status and accommodation). However, there are no significant differences in regard to the variables of the “university” and “gender”. In addition, there is a negative insignificant relationship between the students’ achievement and the difficulties they face.
