Abstract:
The Study aims at discovering the differences between males & females hearing impaired adolescents of psychological resilience & developing resilience, hope & optimism among this sample. Procedure & Method: the sample consists of two sub- samples: diagnostic sample (n = 60 adolescents hearing impaired: 30 males & 30 females; their mean age =14 .18 year) and the experimental sample (10: 5 males & 5 females) who have the developmental program to develop hope, optimism & psychological resilience. Both samples have completed. hope scale (designed by the researcher), optimism scale (Ismaiel, 2008), and psychological resilience scale (translated by the researcher). Results: there are no statistical differences between males & females of psychological resilience, there are statistical differences between the per and post tests of the experimental sample on scales of (hope, optimism, & psychological resilience) towards post test. Finally, there are no statistical differences between the post & post- post test of the experimental sample on study scales.
