dc.description.abstract The aim of this study was to investigate Posttraumatic Stress Disorder symptoms (PTSD) among a sample of Iraqi refugee children and adolescents in Jordan according to different variables. The study sample included 500 Iraqi children and adolescent refugees who are living in Jordan. The Children's Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Inventory (CPTSD- I) was used to assess the levels of PTSD among the study sample. The results indicated that the levels of PTSD were typically found to be in the mid-range at all study tool dimensions and total scores. Also there were significant differences on PTSD based on gender, child’s age, and trauma’s time. At the same time the results indicated that there weren’t significant differences at PTSD levels based on loss of one parent during the time of trauma. The study recommended the importance of providing therapeutic and supportive services for the refugee children, adolescents and their families. en_US
