Burnout Levels among Counselor in the Northern Border Region and its Relationship with some Variables

dc.description.abstract The present study aimed to identify the level of burnout (high, medium, low) among counselor in the Northern Border Region, and its relationship with the variables of sex, professional experience and educational stage of students. The sample consisted of (74) counselors. The study used Maslach psychological burnout measurement. Analysis of the results using the means, standard deviation, t-test and ANOVA was made. The results showed that the level of burnout of counselor was moderately, as the results did not show statistically significant differences at (α= 0.05) in burnout between males and females. Yet, The results showed differences in lack of achievement of accomplishment Profile attributed to sex in favor of males. and there were no statistically significant differences to professional experience. However the results showed statistically significant differences in the Rigidity feelings attributed to the professional experience and the benefit of experience (1-10 years), Additionally the results show statistically significant differences attributable to educational stage of students. en_US
