dc.description.abstract The aim of this study was to try to find the theoretical foundations of academic achievement for university students and the relationship between them and some of the economic determinants related to: (Income/ housing/ work/ transportation/ working at home/ health care). Based on the nature of the study approach was useds descriptive survey. The study sample consisted of (742) students spread over (6) of public universities in different regions of Saudi Arabia. The main results of the study reveal a strong relationship and a strong correlation between academic achievement and the extent of improvement in the economic situation of university students. Hight income for the student or the family increases their academic achievement. Association of university students with, work or specific profession increases their ability to bear responsibility and ararenen, which reflects positively on the academic achievement. No link between the student and the that the provides reward university and the academic achievement. Work of the father and the mother's contributes to raising student academic achievement. Academic in achievement not affected the existence of maids or drivers in the house Academic achievement of the students is affectedty type of housing in which they live, while there is no impact to their independence within the home rooms, especially on the academic achievement. Most of the members of the study sample use means access of transports the university (your car). The study results suggest that it may adversely affect the academic achievement. Improvement of health care received by the student positively impacted the academic achievement. en_US
