Abstract:
This studs aims at identifying the obstacles facing Jordanian teachers in conducting research, choosing variables such as gender, educational stage, academic qualifications, type of school, and years of experience. The study sample consisted of (592) male and female teachers working in the Jordanian schools. The researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (32) items, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified. The most significant results were as follows: -The number of obstacles facing Jordanian teachers was generally high in all domains. -There were statistically significant differences between the means for the obstacles to research facing Jordanian teachers due to gender in favor of female teachers and due to type of school in favor of public schools. -There were no statistically significant differences attributed to the educational stage or years of experience.
