dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate perceptions of diploma students at Al Azhar University towards E-democracy. and to show whether their perceptions vary by sex, educational qualifications, specializations, the type of education, years of experience and access to courses in the computer. The current study tried to answer the following questions: What perceptions are held by the diploma students at Al-Azhar University to the concept of E-democracy? Do these perceptions differ by some variables such as sex, educational qualification, specialization, the type of education, years of experience and access to courses in the computer? Data were collected using a questionnaire. The study sample consisted of (902) diploma students at Al Azhar university for the academic year 2009/2010. The study found that the perceptions of diploma students at Al Azhar University to E-democracy were positive and significant for all points of the study tool in general. The results also indicated no statistically significant differences between the mean perceptions of diploma students at Al Azhar University to the variables of academic qualification, specialization, the kind of education and access training courses on the computer. The findings also indicated that there are statistically significant differences between diploma students at Al Azhar University to the variables of sex and experience. en_US
