dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to find the relation between and decisiontaking in adults and discovering the role of the markers of sleep quality as predictors of decision-taking according to gender. In order to verify the hypotheses of study, a battery of questionnaires including decision-making, a list of sleep quality, the scale of health status and demographic questionnaire have been used. After fulfilling the psychometric requirements of the battery, the data were collected from a sample of )274( adults )108 males, 166 females(, their ages ranged from 20-25 years, with a mean of 20 )SD =1.63( for males, and with a mean of 20.86 )SD =0.48( for females. The findings of the study were as follows: (1) The presence of sleep quality markers accompanied by a decrease in the ability of decision-taking in adults. (2) The absence of sleep quality markers (lack of sleep, insomnia, difficulty sleeping, inadequate sleep( accompanied by gender's ability of decisiontaking. (3) There is no significant difference between males and females in the relation between markers of sleep quality and decision-taking. )4( There is a difference between markers of sleep quality and decision-taking according to health status (good or bad). (5) The lack of sleep, difficulty sleeping, and insufficient sleep were the strongest predictor of inability to decision-taking in adults. en_US
