The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using Web Quests in developing some logical thinking skills and academic achievement motivation among Mathematics Department students at Tabuk university. The study sample consisted of 35 fourth-year Mathematics Department students at the University College of Umlooj
Tabuk University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The researcher prepared a list of logical thinking skills which included Prepositional Reasoning
Controlling Variables
Correlational Reasoning
Probabilistic Reasoning
and Combinatorial Reasoning. The study tools using the logical thinking test were prepared based on Tobin and Capie’s (1980) academic achievement motivation Scale. The researcher regulated the study tools statistically
then applied pre-study tools on the study group. Moreover
the instructional content by using Web Quests was taught to the study group and the the study tools applied on the study group after teaching. After the data was collected and statistically analyzed
the study found the following: • Using Web Quests is effective in developing some logical thinking skills and academic achievement motivation among Mathematics Department students in Tabuk University (group of the study). • There is a statistically significant positive and strong relationship between logical thinking skills and achievement motivation among Mathematics Department students (the study group) at Tabuk University
