The study sample consisted of (167) student in the Kuwait College of Basic Education, a measure of emotional intelligence and Coping Strategies of Stressful Life Events Scales are conducted. The results indicated high level of emotional intelligence among the student’s members of the study. In addition, there were statistically significant differences between the higher and the lower students on the emotional intelligence scale, to the methods of coping strategies of stressful life events with the stylistic positive interaction and behavior dispositions for the benefit of the higher emotional intelligence, and on the method of negative interaction for the benefit of the lower emotional intelligence. We have found a positive statistically significant correlation between the style of positive interaction and behavioral dispositions as dimensions of coping strategies of stressful life events with sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence and its total score, while the style of negative interaction correlated statistically significant negatively with emotional intelligence. The results indicated the contribution of the dimensions of emotional intelligence in a function in predictable ways to coping strategies of stressful life events, and showed that this predictive ability varies with contrast method, while the emotion organization had highest predictive ability than expression of emotions and the utilization of emotions. en_US
