dc.description.abstract |
The study aimed at observing female principals during school day to recognize how they divide time upon their missions, indicating factors cause daily wasting time and the range of their availability, recognizing models that might contribute in managing time effectively and the range of their practicing from female principals’ view points and presenting a pattern for managing time effectively. Qualitative methodology was used. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher used direct observation upon a sample of (10) principals, and brain storming upon a sample of (20) principals selected randomly. The data were analyzed. Major finding were as follows: - − Missions that take the most school day time were: administrative missions, supervisory missions, personal missions and missions related to a local community, respectively. − Factors that cause principals’ time wasting were: checking and answering received mail, daily routine, asking more questions and principals’ absence. − Models of managing time effectively which were used more over were: using computers in organizing work and create a comfortable work environment. In the light of findings some recommendations regarding managing time effectively were cited. |
