The Relationship Between Social Support and Neuroticism and Depression Aggression Among Drug and Non Users in the State of Kuwait

Abstract

The present aim was to the explore relationship between social support and neuroticism and depression and aggression among drug users and non users in Kuwait. The sample of the saudy composed of (1217) University students and drug users, (553) males, (296) females. (368) drug users. The study showed that there was a negative relation between social support and neuroticism and depression and aggression where there was a positive association between neuroticism, depression, and aggression. The study revealed that there was significant differences between male and female in social support, but there were significant differences between male and female in neuroticism, depression, females attained high scores on neuroticism and depression, but male attained high scores on aggression and ther was significant differences between users and non users in social support, neuroticism and depression, Drug users attained high scores on depression, neuroticism and social support. And also that there were no significant differences between non users and users in aggression.
