dc.description.abstract The study aimed to recognize the strategic planning skills achieved towards the principals of schools in petra from the teacher‘s perspectives, to achieve the goals an instrument was constructed including (58) items distributed into four domain (vision ,mission, internal environment, external environment). The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were checked following reasonable methods in this regard. Reliability was checked by Chronbach alpha method. It was applied on a random sample consisted of (202) male and female teachers from Petra Directorate of Education. The results indicated that the individuals of the sample estimation was mid. they indicated that there are no statistically significant differences to the significance level (a= 0.05) to all domains attributed to the independent variables (gender, qualification and experience). The researcher recommended that principle should be trained on strategic planning skills and applying this in the schoolistic area. en_US
