dc.description.abstract This study aimed at identifying training needs of childhood education teachers in the field of teaching Islamic Education Curriculum. The sample of the study consisted of (45) school principals. To achieve the aim of the study, semi-structured interview was used to collect data of the study. The findings of the data analysis showed that there were a set of urgent training needs of childhood education teachers. These were as follow: developing teachers’ practices to contribute effectively in developing child as an integrated personality, using instructional and approaches based on child’s activity, effective use of instructional technology in teaching/learning settings, analyzing Islamic Education Curriculum content, integration in Islamic education lessons, and assessing child’s learning in Islamic education lessons. In the light of these findings, the researchers introduced a set of conclusions and recommendations. en_US
