Administrative Practices of the Directors of the Directorates of Education in Palestine

Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the administrative practices of the directors of the directorates of education in Palestine from the perspective of the heads of departments. The population of the study included (257) members, while the sample consisted of (187) members chosen randomly. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire which consisted of fifty-three items. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences, SPSS. The results of the study revealed that the degree of the estimations of the sample members to the administrative practices was acceptable, with average, (3.77), according to Likert scale. Also, results revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the estimations due to the variables of the study. The study introduced some recommendations based on its results.
