Degree of Commitment of Secondary School Principals in Applying Transparency from Teachers’ Perspectives: Field Study

dc.description.abstract This study aimed at identifying the degree of commitment of public high school principals of schools in the areas of Sharjah, and Ras Al Kamiah in the UAE by applying transparency from the perspective of teachers. The researcher used a questionnaire, which consisted of (50) ended items prepared and distributed on five domains, and an open question. The validity and reliability of the instrument were checked. The sample of the study has been distributed randomly on (303) male and female teachers who are working in educational schools of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah .The results showed that the degree of commitment of principals in government schools by applying evaluation and taking decision related to significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05).Transparency has become moderate in favor of Sharjah Educational Zone, while not showing any statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.05) on any of the domain due to the variables of (sex, educational qualifications and experiences). The results also showed that the most important challenges by applying transparency in educational schools of Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah are the lack of professional honesty and loyalty in their career. The study also concluded a number of recommendations. en_US
