The Problems which Hinder Arabic Language Teachers in Preparing Educational Research in the UAE from Their Point of View

dc.description.abstract The aim of this research is to investigate the problems which hinder Arabic language teachers in conducting educational research from their point of view. The research population consisted of all Arabic language teachers in UAE (2017) teachers, and the sample of the research consisted of (151) male teachers and (149) female teachers. This number represents (15 %) of the research population. The research instrument was questionnaire consisted of (35) items, in addition to an open question including the suggestions and solutions which could solve the previous problems and develop the teacher competencies in conducting educational research. The findings showed that personal and technological problems domain, academic problems domain and economic problems domain have got band (high) from teachers' point of view. However, the administrative problems domain came last with band (low). In addition, the findings showed no significant differences regarding the research variables: gender, academic and educational qualifications, and teaching experience on teachers perceptions of the problems which they face in conducting educational research in UAE. In the light of the mentioned findings, some recommendations were stated. en_US
