Educational values embodied in the texts in the books of Islamic culture to the secondary schools in Jordan

dc.description.abstract This study aims to determine the extent to which Islamic culture, written content for secondary schools in Jordan for the educational values in the light of the general framework of the curricula and textbooks using unit analysis (verse, talk). The population and sample of the study of all the verses and Hadiths of the Prophet in Islamic culture, written for secondary school to be taught for the academic year 2012/2013. The results of the study showed that the number of recommended educational values included in the books of Islamic culture to the secondary in light of the general framework of the curricula and textbooks have reached (43) values spread over four areas of educational values in the secondary and came within the sphere of values of "faith and cult with a repetion rate of (471) and proportion of (64%) of the sum of the values in the secondary. en_US
