dc.description.abstract The present study investigated the attitudes of secondary school principals toward employment of strategic planning in there administrative practices. A randomly selected sample of the study consisted of (81) school principals who represented (62%) of the study population. For the purpose of data collection, a five- domain questionnaire covering stages of strategic planning was developed, and Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient for all domains of the questionnaire was (0.91). To analyze data obtained, means and standard deviation were calculated, t-test scores were used and one-way analysis of variance was conducted. Findings of the study revealed that most of school principals had positive attitudes toward employment of strategic planning in their administrative practices, and that no statistically significant differences (α=0.05) existed in their responses due to study variables. Based upon the study findings, the researcher recommended that such positive attitudes of school principals be utilized as a major part of educational programs for preparation of school principals. en_US
