dc.description.abstract |
The study aimed to investigate the effect of employment of tables and diagrams on the achievement of ninth grade students in Geography, and to investigate the effect of their previous achievement. The population of the study consisted of all students in the ninth grade which was equal to (7085) students. The sample consisted of (156) students and was selected randomly from the clusters of the population. The sample was divided into two groups: experimental (77 students), and control groups (79 students). Achievement Tests were developed for the purpose of data collection. Results revealed that the achievement of the students in the experimental group which was taught by tables and diagrams was significantly higher than the achievement of the students in the control group. Also, there were statistically significant differences in achievement of students due to the previous achievement. |
