dc.description.abstract |
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of students’ adjustment with the university community and attitudes toward major, gender, level of study, major, place of living, and department affiliation. A sample consisting of 410 students studying at Al-marj University participated in this study. Two instruments were applied on this sample: attitudes towards major and adjustment with the university community. Data analysis revealed that the adjustment with the university community, and attitudes towards major were positive. It also revealed that there is a significant effect in achieving this adjustment towards major by the attitude and level of study at the university. This means that with the advancement in university learning, student’s adjustment increases. With reference to the other variables, they did not have any significant effect. |
