Abstract:
Large size classes are most often taught by an instructor lecturing to a sizeable group of students such as in business and IT schools, creating a situation that can be inefficient and unrewarding for both students and instructors. Common strategies that used to teach and overcome the difficulties inherent in teaching large size classes and create effective learning environments are reviewed. These methods include using both simple and organizational strategies and a variety of new technologies to enhance the learning environment. Note that this is a book review for Hanover research strategies for teaching large undergraduate classes.
