Abstract:
This study aimed to identify the impact of the effectiveness of strategic planning and management in the development of the employees' performance in the national company of electricity in the governorate of Irbid, through providing a strategic planning and issuing, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of the proposed plans. An 18- item questionnaire was designed and distributed on three dimensions after being validated. The research sample consisted of (294) of the company employees representing about (16.66%) of the study population and after applying the study tool over the sample and making the necessary statistical treatments. The results of the study have showed the following: there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05), among the mean of the responses towards the impact of the effectiveness of the strategic planning and management strategy in the development of the performance of employees in the national electricity company in the governorate of Irbid due to the variable of gender; there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05), among the mean of the responses towards the impact of the effectiveness of the strategic planning and management strategy in the development of the performance of employees in the national electricity company in the governorate of Irbid due to the job title and there were no statistically significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05), among the mean of the responses towards the impact of the effectiveness of the strategic planning and management strategy in the development of the performance of employees in the national electricity company in the governorate of Irbid due to the work experience.
