dc.description.abstract |
The aim of this study was to explore the students’ viewpoint towards the subject matter taught in the Computer in Education Course. In addition, the researcher tried to explore the effect of some independent variables (specialization, practical training, final GPA, and computer experience) on students’ point of views, time allocated for theoretical and practical sections in the course, and favorable teaching strategies. The researcher prepared an instrument consisted of three parts of the content of the course (CL, CMI, CAI). The sample was 150 female students who were enrolled in the course. The researcher used different analysis methods (Frequencies, Mean, and One- way ANOVA) to analyze the data in order find out the results. The results of the study revealed the following: There were positive points of views among all students toward the subject matter taught in the three areas (CL, CMI, CAI) in the course. There were non-significant differences between the students’ point of views according to the following independent variables: specialization, practical training, final GPA, and computer experience. Time allocated for theoretical and practical sections in the course was acceptable. Finally, there were some favorable teaching strategies than others from the students’ point of views. |
