dc.description.abstract The aim of the study is to identify factors which encourage innovation among working women at Jordanian Universities. To achieve this aim; the author designed a study to include working women both as administrative and staff members in the universities in the North of Jordan in the academic year 2013/2014. The Research developed a questionnaire which addressed these factors, grouped into two main fields: One containing individual and social factors and the second contained factors related to job. There was 1885 working women in these universities. The Research distributed 830 questionnaires to the study group, and retrieved 523 completed questionnaires valid for analysis (63%of distributed questionnaires, 27% of the total study population). Analysis of these data showed that individual and social factors are more important in encouraging innovation in working women compared to job factors. Also results showed that innovation was more evident in unmarried women and working women with less than 5 years-experience at work. According to these results the author put several recommendations to encourage innovation among working women at Jordanian Universities. en_US
