dc.description.abstract effect on the verbal language. To the best of our knowledge no previous study has been attempted to discover the influence of body language on Arabic syntax rules nor applied on selected subjects in Arabic syntax. The selected subjects studied here are of two categories; the first category includes single words, such as nouns of signs, pronouns, adverbs and nouns of verb, while the second category is comprises structures, i.e. 'imperatives', negatives and 'prohibitions', interrogatives,' calling' and emphasizing. It was found that the effect of body signs clearly appear on the above mentioned subjects. en_US
