Abstract:
This research deals with the opinions and ideas of Arabic grammarians about nouns which called Al- Asma'a Al- sitta " the six nouns" . The study investigates three main points , The first describes the argumentation about those ancient ideas . Second, the use of those names in Arabic prose, ancient and modern. Third, the study aims to rewrite the Arabic lesson about those nouns, especially in light of the descriptive method. The results of the study assure some facts about these nouns , only three of them are in use and the others are not . "Abo" , "Akho", and" Thoo" must be maintained, but ''fo'' , and "hamo", and "hano" must be deleted .
