dc.description.abstract This brief report presents a simple exercise on how forensic linguistics knowledge can be used to reveal the authenticity of some unknown malicious messages/texts. The anonymous text is compared against similar texts produced by the same institution that purportedly dispatched the text. Results show clear differences between the documents compared in terms of style and structure, and demonstrate that the questioned text could not have been written by the same academic institutions. en_US
