Abstract:
The topic of artificial intelligence received recent attention in the Arab countries in
general, and the United Arab Emirates in particular, as it has become an inevitable reality
such as in the legal and judicial aspects. It is also a real fact that is facing human intelligence,
and it results in challenges and problems that must be confronted legally, legislatively, and
technically, in an effort to find appropriate solutions in a way that reflects positively on people
and meets emerging human needs. This study found the inability of general legal rules to
keep pace with the tremendous technological development, to achieve the desired protection
from the risks of artificial intelligence. Despite the efforts made by the UAE to confront such
development, the need has become urgent to issue legislation on artificial intelligence that
includes comprehensive aspects of protection from its various risks and applications, and
faces future impacts in a way that meets the renewed human needs, and explicitly states the
importance of adherence to the media from the risks of explaining potential risks associated
with artificial intelligence. the research adopted the idea of benefiting from the Western
experience in this regard, in order to avoid the expected and unexpected damages when
issuing the prospective legislation.
