Abstract:
Scientifc Research plays an important role in the development of
civilizations and its fourishment for it is the best tool towards change and
development. In addition, it allows the organization and use of data in a way
that enhances problem solving and provides better options for the alternatives
available in all felds of life, especially the feld of education. This study aims
to determine the degree of the teacher’s skills in action research. The study
sample included female teachers )n= 60( from Tabuk City, Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. The researcher applied the descriptive approach method to answer the
study questions, and used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences )SPSS(
to analyze the study data and reach its results. One of the main results was
that the skills were present in varying degrees, where the most used skill was
visualizing the problem and analyzing it. The study emphasized the importance
of training teachers and improving their skills in action research.
