dc.description.abstract | Internet of Things (IoT) is the networking of computer devices and objects to share information through the internet. The last five years have witnessed great success in the deployment of cloud massive storage and computation resource to leverage the limitations of IoT devices. However, IoT sensing device(s) such as Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is still challenged with inefficient sensing data provisioning in real time basis. Therefore, this paper investigates the existing algorithms developed by previous researches to manage WSN for the retrieval of efficient and desired sensed data on the Cloud IoT paradigm. In this paper, background information is presented about the origin of WSN-enabled Cloud IoT and its current developmental stride. We identify and analyze how the algorithms are able to manage the WSNs in order to resolve the aforementioned challenges. Furthermore, we discuss how the algorithms are evaluated and validated by useful Quality of Service (QoS) delivery metric parameters. The future enhancement performance of the algorithms as stated in previous researches, which pave the for future research directions is also presented in this paper and ends with a concluding remark. | en_US |
