dc.description.abstract The current study aimed at determining the impact of applying the Cooperative Learning using the second generation of world wide web on developing the cognitive and achievement skills of learning students in the Faculty of Education. The experiment was conducted on a sample of 25 participants from the groups in the educational technology department at Middle East University in Jordan. The groups were divided into an experimental group )studied collaborative e-learning environment using the web 2.0( and a control group )studied within the usual environment(. Two tools were used, they were )an achievement test- and cooperation skills(. The results Showed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post-tests in faviour of the experimental group in the achievement test and cooperative learning skills. en_US
