dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to detect the emotional and behavioral problems in preschool children with hearing disorders and impairments in Riyadh. The study is based on 81 preschool teachers who have evaluated the behavior of 104 children between the ages of 4-6 according to an assessment scale prepared by the researcher. Isolation is the most common problem detected, followed by attention distraction, and finally impulsive behavior and hyperactivity. The results do not show any significant differences between males and females in terms of behavioral and emotional problems. However, the results indicate that the problems of children with hearing loss are more than the children with hearing disorders and impairments. These differences are not significant according to age, but anxiety and aggression increase by the age of 6. In addition, the overall results do not show significant differences in the total score of behavioral and emotional problems due to financial income compared to some differences in terms of anxiety and isolation in the behavior of children from lower income. | en_US |
